Leuke cooking class met open en vriendelijke, goed Engels sprekende familie. Durga heeft ons veel geleerd over chai, masala’s, chapati’s maken en hebben de recepten meegekregen.

Our experience was extremely delightful. To start with - the location is very easy to find on Google maps. We were welcomed very warmly by the family to own the home stay and host the cooking sessions. After a quick chat and discussion on what we would like to learn ( and eventually eat 😊 ) we dived straight into the cooking experience. Durga and her family were excellent hosts. They welcomed us into their home and Durga taught us how to cook some typical Indian recipes. Chapati, basmati, curry, and masala chai are prepared by the participants under the careful supervision of Durga, who directs the work. What is prepared is eaten in the common area of the house in a convivial and informal setting.
