Emi was fantastic! We learned to make THREE Japanese dishes. We we will cherish the memories and take them home with us. Emi also gave us the recipes! Communication was great. She was so kind and so patient and the food was excellent. We HIGHLY recommend this authenticJapanese experience.

Hiromi was an excellent guide once again. Love how she was attentive to things I liked by asking questions and even changing up the tour on the fly as I was the only one on the tour. I experienced hidden gems of a restaurants e.g. sky scaper restaurant serving Hokkaido with tremendous views of Tokyo, but equally felt like a local going restaurant that the locals would go.

Emi granted me and my Friends a wonderful cooking experience. We prepared gyozas, onigiri and tonkatsu, and It was extremely fun and instructive. EMI Is very kind and patience, speaks perfect english and Is very curios about other people's culture, so you'll feel at home with her. Higly recommend this course to everyone!

We had an absolute blast on this market tour with Michael. We got to try foods that we otherwise wouldn't have gotten the opportunity to like fugu and sakura mochi. Michael was a lot of fun and very knowledgeable about the market.

My husband and I attended the 5-day course over a few months while living in Tokyo and absolutely enjoyed it! Miyuki-san was very thorough, explained us a lot of things about Japanese food and culture, and provided us several delicious recipes in each class. I guess one could consider us to be foodies, who have experienced, experimented and tried out a lot of different foods also of the Japanese cuisine, but this class was absolutely wonderful in bringing us deeper knowledge to the topic. Miyuki-san answered all of our questions about the cooking methods, ingredients, etc. also other than in the recipes of the class. Our 9 y.o. daughter also joined the class a few times and enjoyed especially the Wagashi-class that we chose as our selected topic for the 5th session. The course was surely one of our highlights when living in Tokyo. Can only give our warmest recommendations!

We had a wonderful experience when we took the walking tour on a Monday in July with our guides Satoshi and Yuko. In the end it sort of was a private tour because our group had 4 adults and 5 kids aged between 7 and 12. Perfect amount of walking distance overall, and our group didn't feel too tired throughout the walk. Throughout the tour of course there were food stops and they were scheduled perfectly. We got to have a good look at yummy local treats. I had no idea you can make ice cream from black or white sesame! Anyway, it was SO DELICIOUS you have to try it sesame ice cream. The tour includes a nice walk down Harajuku with an okonomiyaki lunch and crepes. We definitely felt as though we were eating like locals, our guides explained about the local Japanese culture and lifestyle and helped us to appreciate local food and the Harajuku. Overall they were very helpful. We highly recommend this tour, thank you so much Yuko and Satoshi!

I am super grateful that I joined this food tour in Omotesando and Harajuku with Asami-san! She was excellent. All the places we visited were great and so were the food samples we ate. The atmosphere was wonderful, not only the food and drinks. I highly recommend this tour as it was one of my highlights during my stay!
