We had a wonderful time at this tea ceremony, led by Hiromi Fujiwara together with Eclat, and two of her lovely colleagues. From the moment we arrived it felt personal rather than touristy. Before the ceremony, they gave us a tour of the house and shared its history, including old photos of the family who owned it and the story of their brewing heritage. It gave real context to everything that followed. The ceremony itself was beautifully done. We went through each stage: waiting, purifying ourselves much like at a Buddhist temple, and then the ceremony. We were served sake beforehand, and sweets both before and during. Hiromi and her team explained every step clearly and guided us so we could take part rather than just watch, which made it much more meaningful. Afterwards we could choose an additional activity. We all picked calligraphy, and it was a lot of fun. Throughout, there was time to chat and get to know our hosts, who were kind and welcoming. As a final touch, they gave us our calligraphy to take home, along with matcha powder in a lovely box. A thoughtful, hands-on introduction to Japanese tea culture. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience and a really unique way to learn about ramen! It was fascinating to taste the individual components that go into the ramen and then combine them ourselves to see how the flavors evolved as we built the dish. We learned a lot about the thought and craftsmanship that goes into each element. The bowl of shoyu ramen prepared by the kitchen at the end was terrific and a perfect way to finish the experience. The English was also very solid, which made the experience easy to follow and enjoy. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to understand and appreciate ramen on a deeper level!

It was an amazing experience to see all of the little details that are put into making great Ramen. Each detail and step was explained to us and we were able to try each ingredient individually to give us a better idea of how it all comes together. If you are interested in understanding how a great bowl of ramen comes together this is a must do tour!

The experience is speechless and incredible, the step by step tasting help me to understand how the layering of ramen stock become so tasty, where I gained more understanding about umami. You also get a chance to make your own mini ramens as well as a bowl (or two smaller bowls of ramen with 500 yen top up) plus the special dish which incorporates ramen toppings and French cuisine techniques. What a wonderful time spending at the shop. If I really had to suggest only one flavor, the shouyu one is my pick.

Tomoko greeted us at the door and was very friendly, gracious and kind, despite that we were obviously foreign. We had a group of three and only I spoke a little Japanese . After greeting us, she took us upstairs, had a spot where we could place our belongings and saw that she had already set up three different stations for us. She asked for a group picture first-which we were happy to oblige, asked where we were from and then we jumped right in. All instructions and the entirety of the tour was in Japanese. However, we had no trouble understanding and communicating with each other. If anything, it added more to the experience and surprisingly, made it more enjoyable. There were no awkward silences or moments of confusion. Tomoko took cues from our body language and facial expressions as we did hers and it was a phenomenal experience! Portions were generous and she served cold, refreshing tea that she diligently refilled each time our glasses got close to being empty. Tomoko did everything herself. From setting up the stations to teaching and guiding the tour and breaking down each station while we were enjoying our meals. She was efficient but also attentive to our needs. At the end of our experience, she gifted us with handmade boxes made of obi and tins of ceremonial green tea. She also gave us a bonus item she called "a gift" which was a place mat she made from kimono. We loved our tour with Tomoko and I recommend everyone experience this. You will not regret it!

Very interesting to hear more of the art of broth making and how to compose your perfect ramen. Best ramen we have had in Japan! They even helped us with our planning for the rest of the day with useful activities for a rainy day. Super!

An absolute must-do in Tokyo! We boarded a traditional yakatabune houseboat from Tennozu for an omakase cruise, and it completely blew me away. Gliding along the river at night offers a stunning, crowd-free perspective of landmarks like the Tokyo Skytree, Rainbow Bridge, and Odaiba. The staff is incredibly attentive, even pausing the meal so you can step onto the deck for photos. It is easily the most intimate and unique way to see the city lights. The sushi itself is exceptional and worth the price alone. Every course, from the premium tuna to the sea urchin, was fresh, refined, and beautifully crafted. Because you're away from the noisy city streets, the atmosphere inside is quiet and relaxed, letting you truly focus on the food and the chef’s skill. If you want a memorable, top-tier dining experience that goes way beyond the usual tourist itinerary, book this. Highly recommended!

A solid experience in Tokyo. We boarded a smooth and relaxing traditional Japanese cruise and were served with high-quality sushi with amazing attention to detail. Definitely worth it not only as a unique way to visit the big Tokyo landmarks without feeling touristy, but also to experience one of the best sushi omakase in Tokyo.
