Visit two small, family-run wineries (non-commercial) in the Soave and Valpolicella areas with relaxed tastings and explanations tailored to your interest. Start with elegant Soave, then enjoy a guided walking tour of Verona’s historic center (Roman and medieval highlights) as a cultural break between tastings. In the afternoon discover Amarone’s traditional appassimento method and taste Valpolicella Classico, Ripasso, Amarone and Recioto. Light lunch with local food included, plus the opportunity to purchase wines directly from the producers.
