My wife and I recently had a wonderful time visiting places in Tuscany, some of which were well off the beaten path. The base for our tour was provided through the hospitality of Francesca and Carlo at the Dimora Casa Eugenia in Loro Ciuffenna. They and their staff supplied excellent accommodations and wonderful food at the beginning and end of each tour day. We had such a wonderful trip. Matteo planned a thoughtful itinerary which brought us to so many interesting places in Tuscany including visiting castles, monasteries several vineyards with wonderful food and wine tasting. Could not have asked for a better driver/tour guide. Paolo shared with us not only his wealth of knowledge of Tuscany but also his attachment to the region and never hesitated to answer our questions. Enjoyed the free time in the various towns. My daughter and I both agree that we can't choose just one thing as our favorite. The entire week was fabulous! Paolo was our driver and told us interesting things about each town we visited. We had plenty of time to explore each town and experience the atmosphere and food. The Farmhouse where we stayed was so nice. It's family run and we had great accommodations and the food was fantastic.
