Guided by professional English-speaking instructors, discover the secrets of Thai cuisine, from a local market tour to exploring lush organic herb gardens. Begin your culinary adventure with a visit to a local market, where you’ll learn how to select the freshest Thai ingredients. Then, head to the Rice Barn’s Kitchen, located just outside Chiang Mai, surrounded by rice fields, a fishpond, and seasonal vegetable gardens. Once there, settle into your personal cooking station, equipped with everything you need. Follow along as your instructor guides you through the preparation of 8 authentic Thai dishes, including hot and sour prawn soup, fried chicken with cashew nuts, green curry or Panang curry, Pad Thai, mango with sticky rice, vegetable spring rolls, and papaya salad. Learn how to assemble curry pastes from scratch and combine seasoning sauces to balance the flavors. Enjoy a hands-on experience as you prepare each dish, gaining the confidence to recreate them at home.

Great & entertaining course

I can only recommend the cooking class to everyone!! The guides Bell, Lollipop, and Kathy made the course something truly special. Very funny, educational, and generally well-paced. I can only recommend it to everyone; the cooking class is in a very nice location, the market we were shown was very local and not crowded, which was very exciting. All the guides were very charismatic, which made it all the more fun:)
