My sister and I did the Behind the Scenes Tour with Wine Tasting. Mary was our guide and she was amazing. She took the time to explain each part of the wine making process while walking us through the vineyard. We have been on many wine tours all over the world and the information Mary provided surpassed most. Thank you for a wonderful tour. I highly recommend this to anyone travelling through Margaret River.
Best experience and friendly staff
Leann gave a comprehensive 1-hour behind-the-scenes tour knowledgably covering history of the vineyard, viticulture and winemaking. All delivered with great enthusiasm. Best tour ever at a vineyard and perfect prelude to wine tasting. Highly recommend
Hi Jen, Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the comprehensive behind-the-scenes tour with Leann. Her knowledge, enthusiasm, and passion truly shine through, and we're thrilled that you found it to be the best vineyard tour you've experienced. We appreciate your high recommendation and are glad that the tour was the perfect prelude to your wine tasting. We hope to welcome you back to Cape Mentelle soon for another memorable visit!
Kate was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable so it was an excellent tour and gave us a good insight into the combination of traditional methods and high technology used byCape Mentelle. Plus the wine tasting was great. Highly recommended.
Dear Helen, A 'Behind the Scenes Tour' can certainly build on one's knowledge of all things wine from the vineyard to the winery. Tasting some of the current portfolio wines afterwards with the host in the cellar door brings it all together! Kate will be very pleased that you both highly recommend the experience and thank you for your 5 point rating. We look forward to your return in the future, Best wishes Julie
This winery is one of the outstanding wineries of the Margaret region. The wines are superb and the catering is excellent. Guests are given a thorough introduction to the art of wine making, its a great chance to sample the products of one of Margaret River's original wineries.
Hi Jeffry, Thank you for highlighting your recent experience at our cellar door. With 50+ years to build upon we are excited to resume our behind the scenes tours having completed vintage! All the best until your next visit to our beautiful region, Julie
