From the phone call the day before we arrived to check on dietary requirements to meeting our wonderful friendly server on arrival (apologies I cannot remember his name) who was not only very informative about the menu but also the historical building. Our tipsy tea was not only beautiful to look at but every mouthful from scrumptious sandwiches, savouries, mouth watering desserts & finishing with a whiskey cocktail was truly a wonderful indulgent experience. I totally messed up when I ordered the afternoon tea! I thought it was for two instead of one. In the middle of a freak out on the day of the visit, I went down to see if I could rectify this in any way, thinking it was a lost cause. Nope. Connor and his team were incredible! Not only did they fix my mistake, they did all they could to make sure the experience was as wonderful as possible.
