Learn to cook iconic Thai dishes like Tom Yum Kung, Green Curry, and Pad Thai with a friendly local guide. Enjoy your own cooking station and get to know more about Thai herbs and their benefits, the history of Thai food, and the variety of food from each region in Thailand. After cooking, enjoy your delicious meal and beautiful view all around. When you visit us, you won’t just see Thailand — you’ll feel it. You’ll start to understand who we are as people. From the flavors and decorations, to the mix of ingredients and the use of local herbs.

Chef Jimmy was hilarious but very engaging, he and his team taught us how to make spectacular Thai food which tasted unbelievable. We also loved meeting the elephants and feeding them bananas, honestly the whole cooking class + elephants experience was one of the highlights of our trip. Can't recommend this more.

One of the best...

One of the best experiences I had in Phuket! Timmy was an absolute delight to cook with. He was a knowledgeable chef, engaging, and so fun! We cooked three meals from scratch, learned lots about Thai cuisine, techniques, and pallets. We also tried some seasonal fruit and got to feed rescue elephants. Will recommend this to everyone visiting Phuket!

A must-visit destination and an unforgettable guide

We spent 2 weeks in Thailand and this sanctuary is the most beautiful and peaceful thing i did here. It’s an absolute must to do place. They look after the elephants so well! And Siri, our guide was a sensitive and cheerful person, she was so perfect both for the explanations about elephants and for the Thai food!! We recommend her so muchh ❤️

A true 5-star experience!

We had an absolutely incredible experience at Bukit Thai Cooking Class! Chef Jimmy and his wonderful team, Jenny and Meow-Meow, were amazing from start to finish. They made dishes like Thai Green Curry, Tom Yum, and Pad Thai feel simple, approachable, and easy to understand, even for beginners. We loved how they explained the ingredients, the cooking techniques, and even the history behind the dishes, which made the experience feel so authentic and meaningful. We had an incredible experience with Chef Jimmy! He is not only a fantastic chef but also a wonderful teacher, sharing his extensive knowledge and passion for traditional Thai cuisine.
