You’ll join a hands-on cherry blossom pastry-making workshop where you’ll learn how to create these delicate flower-shaped treats from scratch. Starting with making the dough, your instructor will guide you step by step through preparing, shaping, and filling each pastry with sweet red bean paste. You’ll learn how to form the dough into a beautiful cherry blossom shape and create the details that give the pastries their distinctive appearance. After shaping your pastries, they’ll be baked on site, and you’ll have the chance to taste what you’ve created. The session is beginner-friendly, designed for small groups, and held in a relaxed setting inside a vegetarian restaurant. It is a creative and enjoyable way to experience Chinese pastry-making and take home a new baking skill.

Lovely birthday celebration

We went to celebrate our friend’s birthday, and it was a really lovely way to spend the day together. We started with the cherry blossom workshop, which was really fun and surprisingly relaxing. We all made our own pastries from scratch; they turned out so cute and beautiful. After the workshop, we stayed for the vegetarian lunch set together. Sweet surprise for my family

While travelling in Shanghai with my family, I wanted to find something relaxing to do on my own for an afternoon and came across this cherry blossom pastry workshop. I really enjoyed learning how to make the pastries from scratch, from preparing the dough and filling them with red bean paste to shaping each one into a little cherry blossom.
