This is a typical itinerary for a full day coffee and waterfall tour in Arusha, where you’ll be picked up from your hotel in Arusha town and drive to Tengeru Cultural Tourism Programe. From here you’ll be briefed by the guides who have been in coffee business for over five years and knows everything there is to know about the cultivation, harvest and processing of coffee. On the coffee farm one will only find the fine Arabica coffee that grows best on high altitudes with a lot of rain. Arusha, laying at 1400m above sea level, Moshi and Ngorongoro are therefore Arabica-coffee favorable areas. And its the only tour that you'll be in contact with locals and get a chance of learning their lifestyle.

Mount Meru Waterfall

Not far outside Arusha town, at the foothills of Mount Meru, a huge area of coffee plantations provides a completely different picture of hustling and buzzing Arusha, fresh air, wide lands and the sounds of nature. It is here that guests can experience an amazing and intoxicating tour to understand the making of Africa Arabica coffee from the cultivation, harvest and processing of coffee. Also the clients will get a chance to hike through the nature to the magnificent natural waterfall. Throughout the whole tour guest will get a chance to interact with local on the way and get a chance to learn their day to day lifestyle.

Unforgetable experience with local community - more than only a coffe tour

The experience of this tour was absolutelly unforgetable and even better than expected. The family is extremelly friendly and lovingly. We could feel like a part of the family. The activity was scheduled as a coffee tour but we got definitly more! We started the day with a great lemon grass/ginger tea and fresh peanuts. Thereafter we enjoyed a walk through banana plantation learning a lot about the different kinds of bananas and could taste them directly from plantation. Then we could also see ...daha fazla oku

Coffee Tour Arusha

Erg leuke dag trip! Ik heb veel leuke dingen geleerd die ik nog niet wist. Ook stonden de gidsen open voor vragen en wisten deze ook te beantwoorden. Het leukste vond ik dat wij aan het einde ook zelf de koffie hebben gebrand en gedronken. Ik kon zelfs mijn voorkeur aangeven hoe ik de koffie gebrand wilde hebben. Ik zou het iedereen willen aanraden, vooral als je ook echt een koffie fan bent!
