Me and my daughter joined this cooking class and had a great day there. We made samosas, pilau and chapati, and the teacher was so nice and welcoming. We felt that we were in an authentic tanzanian kitchen, wich was really nice!
We did this cooking workshop with more friends and it was an absolutely beautiful experience! We cooked the most delicious food I ate since 1 month in Tanzania, got some deep cultural insights, had beautiful and important talks about different issues and learned a lot about this amazing organization. amazing cooking class with lovely local women! The food was delicious!! Very impressed about the foundation and the support they give to women in need. If you want to see the process of making typical tanzanian food and support a good cause you are at the right place!
This small NGO is working hard to empower widows and those with HIV to learn a skill and open their own businesses. We were fortunate to be there when the children came in for lunch. Had a great time singing and dancing with them. I had a beautiful dress made and learned how to make beaded jewelry. My partner took a cooking lesson and made a number of of dishes for lunch. Visiting was one of the highlights of our trip.
