Our wine tasting includes 5 native varieties from small wineries of Greece. Listen to your guide to learn more as you taste each wine, and pair them with Greek cheese, cold cuts and local goods, in our establishment that brings memories from the past. Sip quality Greek wine around the table under the olive tree as Greeks used to do, after a long day in the fields. Taste main Greek wines and learn about the flavors, savor traditional Greek snacks, carefully selected to compliment the wine and enjoy greater interaction with your guide and group during your visit. At the end of the tasting, we are sure you will take a piece of Greek wine culture with you!

Greek olives and fresh bread

Get the lowdown on the Greek wine regions and grapes, and hear tales of Dionysus, the Greek deity of wine and fertility. Taste wines from Santorini and Crete to Naousa, Corfu and Kefalonia. It is possible for individuals under 18 years old to participate in the tasting without alcoholic beverages, by substituting them with non-alcoholic drinks and the corresponding pairings

Wine Tasting with 5 native grape varieties.

A nice wine tasting experience in Silo bar/restaurant. We were slightly late due to traffic delays but managed to keep our host updated by WhatsApp and he kindly delayed the start. 5 wines tasted (I’m not an expert) they were all very different and our host explained their origins and flavour. Nibbles were cheese, apple and salami which certainly added to the experience.

A fun experience with five delicious Greek wines

We really enjoyed this wine tasting experience. The bar owner was knowledgeable and told us lots of interesting information about each of the five Greek wines that we tried. We were given some choice about what sort of wines we could try. We were surprised how delicious the wines were as we hadn’t tasted many Greek wines before. Each wine was paired with a small snack. A fun experience - something interesting to do during a visit to Corfu Town

Lovely experience learning all about the different local wines corfu has to offer, paired with great snacks that bring out the flavours of the wine, would recommend to anyone visiting corfu!
