You will then sit around a traditional dastarkhan, the customary spread of food, and enjoy a freshly prepared three-course Mughal meal. The food is prepared by the women of the household using traditional recipes, locally sourced ingredients, and spices. As you eat, you can speak with your hosts, learn about their food traditions and everyday life, and discover how these culinary practices have been preserved within the community. After the meal, head to the rooftop, where you can take in beautiful views of the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort from the heart of the old city.
