You will also have the chance to learn about Mexican culture and traditions while enjoying a delicious cup of coffee. You will have a culinary experience that will allow you to discover the authentic flavors of Mexico. You will learn how to prepare unique and traditional coffee drinks, using the main ingredients that characterize us, and will share some of my family recipes with you. You will also learn about the relationship between coffee and the Mayan culture, the ancient civilization that inhabited these regions of Mesoamerica. Join me on this culinary adventure and discover the best of Mexico through its flavors.

This course on coffee welcomes you, where we will learn how to roast, grind, and filter coffee for enjoying it at home. If you're a coffee lover, you know that there are many different ways to prepare and enjoy it, but in this course, we will focus on coffee preparation through roasting, grinding, and filtering. However, coffee has been an important part of the culture and history of many other countries, including Mexico and the ancient Mayan cultures. Each participant will receive a portion of green coffee beans. Green coffee beans are used for the roasting process, during which they acquire their characteristic brown color and develop the flavors and aromas that we associate with roasted coffee. With special utensils, we will roast our own coffee and learn about the importance of roasting. We will also learn about coffee grinding, from how to grind the beans to how to choose the coarseness of the grind to achieve the desired flavor. Must do! So much fun!

So much fun! I learned so much about coffee and its process and Alex was an awesome host and instructor! The hour flew by and ended with a delicious cup of coffee. Definitely can’t wait to book another class with him.

Alex Is Awesome

This entire experience was amazing and very intimate. My partner and I learned so much about Mexican coffee from Alex and had a great time roasting and preparing our own coffee. Alex clearly loves what he does and it shows in the work he puts in but also his customer service. I felt wrapped in the Mexican culture. Along with the coffee class he also offers a tortilla making class, which everyone should try. Go see Alex and have a great time !

Alex is the Best!

Alex is a great host and instructor! We learned a bit of coffee history in Mexico and then Alex guided us through a hands-on experience of roasting coffee and grinding it in a lava stone grinder. The coffee we made was delicious and the experience was one-of-a-kind. I highly recommend this tour.
