“Bertie and Aby will show you the spirit and diversity of Argentina with small production wines and delicious regional food pairings” We are Bertie and Aby - an English sommelier and an Argentine chef. In 2016 we started Wine Discovery. Our tastings are focused around wine, food and good company, all shared around a big table - the Argentine way! Aby has been cooking traditional Argentine food every since she was a child, helping at (big) family gatherings and Bertie has worked as a sommelier since 2008. Together we want to share our knowledge and passion for Argentina’s wine, cuisine and culture! Our experience is designed to be enjoyed by everyone - whether you are just mildly interested in wine or an expert, our wine tastings are a fun and relaxed affair! Enjoy great food, generous pours and good company! Cheers!

At our wine tasting, we offer a unique 2 hour experience that allows you to discover the boutique wines of Argentina, local dishes and the history and stories behind every wine we taste We source each of our wines from small producers from across Argentina. We start in the arid north and then move down to the cool plains of Patagonia. From there we move north to the famous vineyards of Mendoza. All of the wineries we work with are family run and pride themselves on making unique wines, packed full of character! We taste four wines, each by a different producer and from a unique region of Argentina. To make everything even more mouth-watering, each wine of paired with homemade regional tapas, prepared freshly by Aby. During the tasting, we take a look not just at wine, but also Argentina's fascinating history and culture.

Intimate wine tasting

Intimate wine tasting with food pairing. Wonderful three hours tasting five different, small batch wines. Perfect food pairings with each course. The hosts were knowledgeable, down to earth, and extremely personable.

Simply outstanding — a truly personal wine and food pairing experience..

From the moment we arrived, this felt like a personal experience rather than a typical wine tasting. Bertie and Abi tailored the tasting to our interests, taking the time to answer questions and guide us deeper into understanding Argentine wines. Great experience all around!!! Bertie and Abe are amazing. So much fun and the food and wine were delicious. Great company and a fun atmosphere. Highly recommend spending time with them both!!!!
