White Meadows Farms

In our small corner of the world where the right trees and climate combine to make 100% Pure Maple Syrup, tours into the sugar bush are an annual winter tradition. However, we believe something this good and this rare deserves to be celebrated all year. Join our expert sugar-maker on a one-hour journey beneath the iconic maple leaves of the “off-season” sugar bush and discover the modern world of maple syrup production, the traditions that have survived the centuries, and the innovations that make today’s farms thrive. Witness how, in our three generations of sugar-making, we still craft our syrup 100% pure and simple, with no additives or sacrifice to the sap’s natural nutrients. Who are these expert sugar-makers? Our sugar-makers are the chief masters of all things maple on the Farm. Often very busy giving our tree herd its deserved TLC, they’re setting aside time to take you deep into the character and complexity of 100% Pure Maple Syrup. There’s never been a better chance to ask your toughest maple questions, like: Why is maple syrup production often compared to wine? What’s the science that causes maple syrup to get darker and stronger later in the season? How does the soil make Ontario maple syrup unique? Your Discover Maple Tour begins in our hub of maple syrup production, the Sugar Shack, and ventures by wagon to the heart of the maple factory, the forest. Here the masters unveil the world of maple syrup from sap collection to the health and wellness of the trees, as you venture along our groomed walking trail. Linger afterward in the shade of the mighty maples for a legendary sugar bush treat, “stick-to-your-lips” delicious, Taffy-on-Snow -- another winter tradition we can’t let you miss.

10/10 tour experience, experienced and knowledgeable staff. Make the stop and be blown away.

We traveled from New Orleans, Louisiana to Niagara, stopped at White Meadows Farm and then on to Toronto. I can't emphasize how THANKFUL we made the extra stop. The tour was absolutely wonderful! Our tour guide, Brooke, was incredibly knowledgeable and a joy to be with. She was able to answer our, possibly, off the wall questions with grace and seemed genuinely excited to be there, she seemed to truly love her job. We had the good fortune to attend during the first weekday tour and in turn, had ...daha fazla oku

Highly recommended

Ernie was an amazing guide making the whole tour a great experience and very interesting and informative. My kids loved going on the tractor and tasting all the maple syrup types and learning how the maple syrup is made. The tasting board is a must. Excellent tour for all age.

Utterly Enchanting: A Maple Syrup Tour You Can’t Miss

We have traveled all over the world, and this maple syrup tour is easily one of the absolute best experiences we have ever had. From the second we arrived until the moment we left, everything was spotlessly clean, beautiful, and utterly enchanting. We honestly didn't want to leave. Our guide, Luc, was exceptional. He was hilarious, super engaging, and knew pretty much everything there is to know about maple syrup while keeping all of us entertained the whole time. The tour started with a great l...daha fazla oku

A Must-Visit Maple Syrup Farm!

We had such a lovely visit! Ernie was a fantastic tour guide - so warm, funny, and wonderful at explaining how maple syrup is made in a way that was easy for everyone, especially foreign visitors, to understand. He made the whole experience truly special. We highly recommend visiting and can't wait to come back!
