Come see Tennessee's most unique distillery offering a wide range of award winning spirits. Tour our amazing distillery with five hand-built still systems capable of producing everything from vodka to rum, absinthe to agave and of course our astonishing gin which is one of the very best in the world according to Forbes magazine. We make whiskey too! Bourbon, rye and Single Malt are all produced in-house and aged in our signature Boxcar Barrelhouse! The distillery is a proud member of the Tennessee Whiskey Trail!

Gate 11 Distillery

The Gate 11 Distillery is a small craft operation located on two different floor levels adjacent to our cocktail bars and bottle shop. On the first floor, tour participants will learn about Gate 11's wide range of award-winning spirits and will see the our bottling operations, mash cooker and fermenter and will see the bottom portions of our pot still and column stills. On the second level, tour participants will see the top portions of our pot and column stuill systems and our three smaller botanical extraction stills. On this level, they will also learn a bit of the history of some of the unique spirits we produce and our product development process. After the distillery tour, participants will be guided to our tasting room where they will be offered their choice of four of our award-winning spirits to taste. Options include: vodka, gin, white rum, overproof rum, absinthe blanche, agave blanco, agave reposado, agave anejo, single malt whiskey, bourbon and rye.

Fascinating glimpse...

Fascinating glimpse behind the scenes tour followed by a sampling of their wares. Our hostess was gracious and well-informed. It was a treat to be able to try their absinthe along with their prize-winning gin and vodka. Highly recommended!

Gate 11 Distillery

It’s not your typical distillery, but it was such an awesome tour that the owners gave us of their production of whiskey, gin, rum, etc. They also make their own amaretto, Kahlúa, and several types of syrups. I was just so fascinated by the whole setup. Our bartender Savanna mixed the best drinks and our favorite was the Italian Margarita

Small but MIGHTY!!!

Chose this distillery bc they offered more than just whiskey! Loved meeting Bill & Wanda & our mixologists at the bar were the best! This place is small but mighty! Bill has built most of the equipment & Wanda is the master behind most of the recipes. We were very impressed that almost everything is made in house - bitters, simple syrups…they even make their own Aperol😳. Enjoyed the tour, tasting, drinks at the bar & meeting the owners & staff. Would highly recommend!!!

Excellent and informative tour of family run distillery.

Family distillery with lots of history. Very interesting to see the work put in to make the award winning spirits. And everything I tasted was delicious.
