Discover the highest active volcano in Europe on a journey that combines geological wonders, the gastronomic excellence of Etna and the sweetness of its honey. You will taste Etna honey, olive oils, fine wines and typical products, at a selected local farm. We will take you to an altitude of 2000 meters to make you experience the thrill of walking on the edge of the Silvestri Craters, admiring the most iconic panoramic points of the volcano. The climax will be at Cantine Gambino or Murgo, among the top 5 historical out of 400 of Etna. Among vineyards and wonderful views, you will enjoy a lunch with tasting of 4 excellent wines expertly paired with traditional dishes. Your Expert Pro driver, fluent English speaker will be at your disposal to ensure you an unforgettable experience. Private pick-up and drop-off service included (Taormina, Catania, Messina or Porto) on vehicles equipped with Wi-Fi and comfort.

Great Experience!

Great fun, informative tour. Beautiful ride, enjoyed stop and tasting at local honey shop. Then nice wine tasting with lunch. Guide was so sweet, fun, full of info and details at Mt. Etna.

Amazing day at Etna!

We had an incredible experience today. First we stopped to taste honey and a few few different wines. Next we ventured into a lava cave, before arriving at the Silvestri craters at 2000 meters. What an amazing place, we felt like walking on the moon! The final stop was at the Gambino Vineyard, where we had a great wine tasting! The wine was paired perfectly with local food. Great tour of Mt. Etna and history of the villages. You should be mindful there is some minor walking up a crater for an amazing view, so Wear shoes with good traction, a hat, and sunglasses as it can get windy. Mt. Etna is an active volcano so expect ashe to whip around! After that the winery tour and tasting is what you need to too top off your visit.

A lovely day trip

Our driver Salvo picked us up right out side our hotel. He was super nice, answered all our questions with great enthuziasm, and a big plus for being very funny. The tour was a very good combination of active and relaxing. It was really interesting to see Etna up close, and the wines and food at Gambino was really good. Would definently recommend to book this trip.
