The olive oil tour and tasting was highly educational, well organized, and delivered in a friendly and engaging atmosphere. The owner is extremely knowledgeable about the entire process. I learned not only about olives, but also the importance of sustainability in managing the operation. Anne was brilliant, we initially booked a day which didn't work for her, communication from Anne was top notch and we found a day that worked for both of us. The tour itself was fabulous, Anne's knowledge of the local area and how she taught us was easy to learn thanks to her delivery with humour. We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Boribel Olive Grove with Anne and her family. Anne was an amazing guide! Warm, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the land, the local community, and everything they produce. She taught us so much about a variety of different trees, plants and flowers. Anne and her family made us feel incredibly welcome with an amazing lunch consisting of an array of fresh produce from their farm, along with delicious locally sourced cheeses. Anne is such an incredible owner and guide. She has a lot of great knowledge based on science and nature and shows me step by step how they grow olive trees , manage the ground without using chemicals and harvest fruits to make every drop of olive oil. Their family also prepared the olive oil , breads , yummy jams from their farm for the delightful light lunch. I felt so much indulged . We had a lovely visit here and got exactly the kind of tour we were looking for. It's a very pleasent concept without being too touristy and crowded. Boribel tried to create something authentic which I think there achieved quite well. They have a small farm where we walked around for a few hours while Anne was answering all our questions about olives.
