Our Cooking Class is located right outside of Corredera Food Market at Jugo Vinos Vivos; the first natural wine bar opened in 2014 in Cordoba. The classes are developed by Gabrielle Mangeri, a world traveler from New York City who landed in Cordoba in 2010. During this guided tour, you will buy all of the seasonal ingredients for a dynamic and delcious cooking class, learn about locally grown products and participate in the selection of the recipes that will be used to make a hand crafted menu using the best fresh and seasonal ingredientes. A class which combines a passion for food with creativity and intuition. A moment to activate our senses and relish in the pleasures of food and wine, of art and music and to begin a conversation with slow living.

All ingredients and materials are provided by the us. Craft beer and table olives are served during the class and at the end

Gratuities

We begin our day at the main food market in the historic center of the city. Feel like a local tasting, smelling and living an authentic day in the life of a Cordoba Food Lover! We make several stops on our way back to our natural wine shop, picking up all of the delicious ingredients we´ll be using as we prepare a very special meal together! Improvising as we visit the market stalls stopping to taste all of the new things that grab our attention. See something you'd like to try? Let's grab it and throw it on the fire! Life is an adventure, and food is a connection in that adventure towards new experiences! We look forward to relishing in the delicious parts of the city with you and can´t wait to welcome you like an old friend. Many have said that ¨Feed the Fire¨ was the best meal in Spain!

What a delightful...

What a delightful experience! This was the most flexible, fun cooking class I’ve ever had. The menu wasn’t set - we designed it together based on what was available at the market. We were more sous chefs than chefs, but we could have been more or less involved if we wanted. It was like being invited into someone’s kitchen. In a world full of scripted experiences, it was so nice to find something that felt very genuine and personal. Oh, and the food and drinks were delicious. Highly recommended...daha fazla oku

Intimate experience with an amazing host/cook. Gabby was kind and enthusiastic and shared the culture with us. We enjoyed every minute of it. She allowed us to help prepare the meal and shop. Highly recommend.

Enjoyable cooking experience with a very pleasant host/chef

Gaby was very easy to understand and enjoyable to be with. We participated in the shopping for ingredients and as much, or little, as we wanted to in preparing the meal. We even worked thru the electrical blackout that occurred by using portable gas stoves.

Wonderful Cooking Experience in Cordoba

Wonderful Experience. Gabby our cook and head shopper was awesome. She is such a delight to talk with. Lots of great conversations. This experience was just as advertised. We had one other gal from the states and the three of us had a blast. We started in the local market, walked to her shop, prepared everything and had engaging conversations. The food was amazing. I would so highly recommend you give this a try. You will not be disappointed
