So as to summarize the activity : • You will basically learn some of the art of the Moroccan cuisine, the essential recipes to successfully cook and make your first Moroccan Tagine. • You will have a chance to interact with locals and learn their family culinary secrets. • You will cook inside an old traditional house in the old medina of Fes. • You will visit the local Souk to buy the cooking ingredients as locals do every single day. • Our workshop includes a baking session of the traditional bread 'Khobz' and a visit to the communal oven 'Faran' if it was opened. • Choices are multiple and varied of Tagines so we discussed with you before we cook, plus we are vegetarian's friendly and you are welcome to cook depending on your tastes. Learning to cook a Moroccan meal and interacting with locals is the highlight of our Cooking workshop.

Great experience

An absolutely wonderful and unforgettable experience! From the very first moment, we felt incredibly welcome and immediately like part of the family. The whole family is so warm, kind and genuinely lovely – their hospitality made this experience truly special. Cooking together was so much fun! Fun in Fes! More than a cooking class.

We stayed at Dar 7 Louyat with Sufyan and Aboud and Miriam. What a great way to experience Fes!! We did the cooking class, starting with a visit to the market to purchase supplies, and ending with one of the best meals we had in Morocco. They arranged a guide for a day in the Medina. Good thing! The 'streets' are so small and twisty that we'd be lost in a heartbeat. In fact, one night we tried to walk back from a restaurant and got lost. Aboud came and rescued us! Sharing Experience

Magnificent cultural connection in kitchen workshop

It has been an amazing experience! Sufyan and Fatima have been magnificent hosts. We have really enjoyed the activity, both shopping at the market and in the cooking class. We have shared a lot with them and it is a highly recommended activity for families as they have been very attentive to our children. Without a doubt, if one day we return to Fez, we will repeat... in addition to recommending friends or family to travel to Fez. Thank you so much for everything!!!

Unmissable experience

A beautiful alternative experience to fully experience the local gastronomic culture, Moroccan customs, starting with shopping at the Point of Sale, ending with a delicious lunch. Sufyan is very helpful and welcomed us in the best way, answering all our curiosity. And what about Fatima, an excellent cook who shared her kitchen with us as if we were family, guiding us step by step in every preparation.
