Around an hour's drive north of Venice, it makes for a beautiful day trip, especially for wine lovers who can enjoy the spoils of its Prosecco Superiore vineyards, widely considered to be some of the best in the country. The region is home to almost 200 wineries and produces over 100 million bottles of Prosecco Superiore annually. Your first stop will be at a prestigious family-run winery, where you will enjoy an enthralling explanation of the vineyard’s history from one of the winemakers themselves. You will have the opportunity to wander through the vineyards and get an insider look at their particular winemaking process, before enjoying a tasting of 4 different types of Prosecco Valdobbiadene DOCG. You will have some free time to have lunch at a typical local tavern handpicked by your guide (not included).
