Ninety minutes. One pizza. Entirely yours. That is the deal and it is a pretty good one. In this fun, beginner-friendly class Chef Hamzeh walks you through everything you need to know about making pizza from scratch, from handling the dough to building toppings that actually work together. The best part is that you get to choose your own style, New York, Neapolitan, balloon pizza or calzone, and pile on whatever toppings you like from a spread of tomato sauce, mozzarella, fresh vegetables and basil. No two pizzas ever come out the same and that is entirely the point. The final 30 minutes are all about sitting down, eating what you made and enjoying the company of whoever you came with. Vancouver has a lot of great pizza. After this class you will be making some of it.

You will start by getting hands-on with the dough, learning how to work it properly before building your pizza exactly the way you want it. New York style, Neapolitan, balloon pizza or calzone, the style is yours to choose and so are the toppings. Tomato sauce, mozzarella, fresh vegetables and basil are all on the table, and Chef Hamzeh is there to guide you through the techniques that turn a good pizza into a great one. The last 30 minutes are reserved for the best part: sitting back, relaxing and eating your creation with the people you just made it alongside. Casual, social and genuinely fun from start to finish. No experience needed. Just show up hungry and ready to get your hands a little floury.
