Guided by a professional chef, you'll discover the secrets behind real gelato: from selecting quality ingredients to mixing, churning, and freezing. You'll explore seasonal flavors and classic pairings, using fresh fruit, chocolate, nuts, or spices to create different flavors.
This hands-on experience is perfect for both adults and families, and suitable for curious beginners as well as food lovers. You’ll work step by step through the process, learning techniques you can easily replicate at home, even without a gelato machine!
At the end of the class, you’ll taste your own creations with the group and take home a recipe booklet including everything you prepared and more ideas to experiment with in your own kitchen.

Chef
Join a gelato-making class in a cozy kitchen in the heart of Bologna and learn how to make real Italian gelato from scratch. Guided by a professional chef, you'll explore the essential techniques to prepare artisanal gelato using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
Once your gelato is ready, you'll taste it with the rest of the group. At the end of the class, you’ll receive a recipe booklet with everything you’ve made, along with some extra ideas to try at home.
The activity is suitable for adults, families, and anyone curious about Italian food culture. It is also designed to be easy to follow, even if you have no cooking experience.

Creamy Gelato
Creamy Gelato that you make!! Our instructor, Mattia, guided us thru the steps to make some of the most wonderful gelato that I ever tasted…amaretto, peach sorbet, and creamy dreamy chocolate! We had a great time and our bellies are satisfied!!! Grazie Mattia
