Follow your guide through a maze of corridors to discover over 500 stalls brimming with hidden culinary gems. Savor iconic local specialties such as birria, barbacoa, and tortas ahogadas, while learning about Guadalajara 's rich culinary heritage and making flavorful memories along the way.

This gigantic market is vibrant! Explore its three floors bursting with sights, sounds, and enticing aromas. Be prepared for a sensory overload of colorful crafts, fresh produce, and delicious food stalls, a fully-immersive experience of engagement with Guadalajara's local community. Since this is a private tour -just for you and your companions- we can go at our own pace. There’s an endless variety of souvenirs and handicrafts, and we can take as much time as you need to find the perfect items. As part of the culinary experience you will try: 1. Tortas ahogadas: a tomato salsa-drowned pork carnitas sandwich. 2. Tacos de barbacoa: slow-cooked marinated beef, served in grilled tacos. 3. Tejuino: a cold beverage made from fermented corn. 4. Artisanal candies and/or seasonal fruits. To spare you the hassle of dealing with local currency and making change, the food at the market is already included. All dietary preferences can be accommodated, including vegan and vegetarian.

This plaza connects nine streets and is home to the city's oldest restaurants. The house specialty at Nueve Esquinas is birria, a juicy and delicious hearty meat stew, served with hand-made tortillas, cilantro, onions, lemon and salsa. Before concluding the tour, your local guide will share personalized recommendations for activities, restaurants, bars, and fascinating areas of the city to explore further.
