Our olive oil is extracted with the traditional method of first cold pressing, with granite millstones and hydraulic presses, in a beautifil recently-built plant which blends well with the surrounding landscape. Guests can also enjoy more than 2,000 square meters of green areas dotted with ancient olive trees. Our proposal includes a guided tour of the Oil Mill with speaker (in Italian, English or French): - How olive oil is born: detailed description of all stages production process, from the fruit to the oil, using the traditional method of first cold pressing. Comparison with other extraction methods; - How a very high quality olive oil is born: description of methods adopted in the various stages of production and the storage process, which directly affect the quality of olive oil. TASTING Bruschettas prepared on the spot with wood-fired bread: classical (EVO oil + salt) and with garlic Beverages: Red wine & Water

We are happy to accompany our guests to beautiful nearby sites that are worth a visit (Morcicchia Castle, San Felice Abbey, centuries-old Macciano olive tree).

A must to visit in Umbria

Wonderful, educational experience. With a friendly knowledgeable host. Made to feel very welcome Learning the process made us truly appreciate the value of this artisan product. Purchased a few small bottles of their olive oil. No pressure to buy. The experience was exceptional value for mpney

DO NOT MISS!

This was absolutely fantastic - we learned so much about traditional olive oil production in Umbria, from a fourth generation olive oil producer on his family’s farm. There is probably nothing that Enrico at Frantoio del Sero doesn’t know about how to grow olives, how to process and press them, and how to use his beautiful green liquid to its best. We were expertly guided through how olive trees grow and are harvested, gazing at some of his trees outside the mill. We then went inside and talk...daha fazla oku

Extremely comprehensive...

Extremely comprehensive and impressive tour of a traditional olive oil mill. Enrico was fantastic. And the olive oil was great - we were able to taste it with bruschetta and separately as well.

Tolle persönliche Erfahrung!

Enrico hat sich sehr viel Zeit genommen, mir die wunderschöne Plantage und die wirklich beeindruckende Ölmühle zu zeigen und alles zu erklären. Selbst wenn man schon mal eine andere Mühle besichtigt hat, ein so handwerkliches Produktionsverfahren hat man bestimmt noch nicht gesehen. Die anschließende Verköstigung war außerordentlich lecker und bei einer guten Unterhaltung mit Enrico sehr persönlich und freundlich. Alles in allem ein tolles Erlebnis das sehr zu empfehlen ist!
