Savor the Jordanian love of food on this 3-hour cooking class in Amman, including lunch or dinner. Head to a cooking school in the charming Amman neighborhood overlooking old Amman and learn to make traditional Arabic dishes with local cooks. Prepare your recipes to learn how to cook Jordanian Traditional food. Lastly, enjoy your creations for lunch or dinner, depending on your chosen class time; and you may also like to sip on a glass of wine with your food before finishing with a cup of coffee or tea and dessert or fruit of the season. Choice of morning or afternoon departure family friendly small group ensures personal service. Also, a short Amman panoramic visit is included in your tour.

You will be picked up from your hotel with a private English – Speaking Driver either in the morning or afternoon, depending on the time you chose for this activity. Proceed to your cooking class that offers lunch and dinner classes, located in the heart of Amman either “Beit Sitti”, “Lebanese House Um Khalil” or "Jordanian Kitchen", where you will be introduced to the charming area. Enjoy the atmosphere as you cook authentic Arabic dishes. The cooking takes place in a special location, with starters, salads, appetizers, and main dish, making it a unique activity and an enjoyable experience. When the cooking is complete, relish your hand made meal in the dining area. You have the chance to enjoy local wine (at your own expense) with your own cooked food. Finish your meal with a cup of coffee or tea, as is tradition in Jordanian houses to be served after you eat with local dessert or fruit of the season. After some rest time and your cooking class ends, you will be taken for a short panoramic tour in Amman and then return to your hotel by your own private vehicle.

Fun and Enjoyable

Great guide and fun cooking experience. A nice drive through town and very interesting exhibition on local cuisine and the ability to take part in food preparation.

Most Excellent Time

I took the panoramic tour along with the cooking class. I have been to Amman many times and on the driving tour a learned even more about Amman. The driver (Raed) was flexible with what we saw and shared his personal family history in Amman. The cooking class was a lot of fun. The hosts were excellent and provide all of us the opportunity to interact and be part of preparing and cooking the meal. And the meal was amazing. They even let me take the leftovers as takeaway.
