The Yangshuo Cooking lesson half day tour offers you the opportunity to learn how to cook real Chinese food in a traditional setting. The Chinese cuisine is one of the world's most famous cuisines with a history of thousands of years and with distinctive regional differences. The cuisine of Guanxi Province is simple but extremely tasty using the broad diversity of food that is produced in this fertile area. Highlights: 1. Learn How to cooking the real Chinese food. 2. Visit the local market. 3. The food that you cooked can be your lunch or Dinner.

2. The Charge of the cooking lesson.

1. The round way private car from Yangshuo area & English or Chinese speaking driver.(The school teacher can speaking English)

The Lunch or Dinner

First we will take you shopping in the local market of Yangshuo to learn about the ingredients that you will use in your dishes. At the end of the cooking class you will eat the meals together and informally explore Chinese culture, folk-lore and customs. We offers two cooking classes each day, one in the morning with a pick-up time between 9.00-9.30am and one in the afternoon starting at 15.00-15.30 and includes a pick-up from your accommodation in the center or nearby, a guided tour around the market, the course itself and lunch.

Delicious

We had a small group (another family and us). Visit to the market was interesting, but not necessary to the cooking lesson. Provided a sober understanding of the variety of animals consumed and the handling of them. The class was great. We prepared 5 different dishes in different styles and atet hem for lunch. All was done with a lot of patience and much fun. A unique and fun experience.

A bit disappointing

We were promised a four hours course, including a visit to the local market to explore the possible ingredients. In fact, it was shorter. The visit to the market was fast and the guide spoke quietly so not everyone could hear her and relate. The cooking itself was mainly wok frying, no dumplings, no noodles or rice or anything too complicated. It was a nice experience, not more. I actually expected more. And it was a bit expensive.
