With guidance from local hosts, you’ll learn the basics of traditional phin brewing before making 4–6 signature Vietnamese coffees from scratch. You’ll grind, brew, whisk, taste, and adjust each cup yourself — from bold Black Coffee and creamy Brown Coffee to Hanoi Egg Coffee, Bạc Xỉu, Coconut Coffee, and Salt Coffee. Fresh ingredients are prepared daily, and nothing is pre-made, so you’ll be involved in every step. As you make and taste each coffee, your hosts will share the stories behind the drinks, Hanoi’s coffee culture, and the small details that make each style different. You’ll also pick up practical tips and techniques that you can easily recreate at home. It’s a relaxed, hands-on experience in a small group — come curious, make your own coffee, meet fellow travelers, and experience a little of everyday Hanoi along the way.
