    On this tour you explore the heart of the historic centre of Lisbon. By visiting the main squares and seeing the sites, seeing fabulous views from different viewpoints, exploring the oldest neighbourhood in Lisbon and one of the oldest in Europe - Alfama. Passing through the Comércio square and soaking in the view of the river right in front of it before finishing off in the iconic Chiado neighbourhood with the fancy boutique shops and historic cafés and passing by the Carmo square where the revolution ended with a final viewpoint from the Santa Justa elevator overlooking the city centre.

    We stop at a local pastry where you can try the famous custard tarts known as "pastel de nata" and have a beverage.
    Entrance to Sé Cathedral is not included - adults 5 euros, children from 7-12, 3 euros
    Entrance to Santa Justa elevator is not included. 5,30 euros return trip
    Entrance to Carmo convent is not included. Adults 7 euros, Seniors/students 5 euros

    Bilmekte Fayda Var

    • It is possible to do the tour on a wheelchair or with a baby carriage, although there are areas with steps like in Alfama where you will have to carry the child/person.
    • If you are very unfit I would advise against. Lisbon has 7 hills, you will be walking up and down for about 5 km.
    • Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
    • Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
    • Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
    • Public transportation options are available nearby

    On this square there are several points of interest such as the restauradores obelisk, one of the oldest hotels in Lisbon, the calçateiros statue, the Gloria elevator and the Avenida da Liberdade

    Monumento A D. Pedro IV

    The centre of Lisbon. Many interesting points visible from here such as Carmo convent, Maria II Theatre and the Castle of São Jorge.

    The market square of Lisbon, with many iconic sites such as the statue of D. Jõao I, the Confeitaria Nacional and the "doll hospital".

    Miradouro Chao do Loureiro

    A fantastic view point right below the Castle of São Jorge. Many sites are visible from here, including the Tejo river and the 25th of April Bridge. Bare in mind, walking from the previous point to here should take approximately 15 minutes.

    Santo António

    We make a short break here at this pastry shop to try one of the famous custard tarts and a beverage. Here you can see them making the custard tarts.

    Miradouro de Santa Luzia

    Another striking view point from a different perspective just on the top of Alfama and some beautiful tile portraits.

    Praca do Comercio

    The biggest square of the Lisbon, right be the river. The grand entrance to the city coming from the river. Many points of interest here, such as the Rua Augusta Arch.

    Chiado

    One of the most emblematic neighbourhoods of Lisbon being a boutique and theatre hub. Many famous sites such as the oldest bookshop in the world, the Camões square, the Brasileira Café with the statue of Fernardo Pessoa.

    Largo do Carmo

    This historic square is where the carnation revolution took place with the end of the dictatorship. It also has some historic sites such as the Carmo convent and the Santa Justa elevator access.
