Located at Merdeka Square (independence square ) and its surrounding by government buildings, president palace, Istiqlal mosque, train station, and city hall of Jakarta.

Istiqlal Mosque was the biggest mosque in south east Asia. This is the grand mosque of Indonesia that was built by the first president of Indonesia (Sokearno) and finish at 1978 during 2nd president of Indonesia (Soeharto).
