Monte San Salvatore

After exploring the old city's history together with your guide, you will take the included funicular ( cablecar ) trip up to the summit of San Salvatore (2 992ft). The ride itself is an experience, offering panoramic views of the lake, mountains, and surrounding valleys as you ascend. On the mountain summit you enjoy a delicious lunch at a restaurant with a wonderful view. The menu varies daily and typically features local Swiss cuisine, such as hearty risottos, polenta, pastas, and fresh salads - all prepared with seasonal ingredients. After your meal the guide will take you to the highest point of mountain, where the horizon offers a 360-degree view, allowing you to take in the diverse landscapes — from rolling hills to rugged mountain ridges — making each angle unique and captivating.
