We have combined the best Madeira Wine tasting tour in Funchal. The Blandy's wine tour is arguably the best wine experience in Madeira and you'll be taken around the famous wine lodge understanding the history and you'll end up tasting the best Madeira wines. You get to be guided around the Blandy's lodge with a certified guide and then finish with tasting 3 of the nicest Madeira wines they have to offer. We then invite you to a unique artisenal cheese shop to taste 3 of the most delicious cheeses with a glass of wine included to finish of the experience.

Blandy's Wine Lodge

The guided tour of Blandy's Wine Lodge is available from Monday to Saturday, and are suitable for visitors with various levels of wine knowledge, as well as visitors with children. All the tours are accompanied by brand ambassadors, who will walk you through the different areas of the Wine Lodge, share secrets of Madeira wine production and offer a wine tasting at the end of the visit. After the tour we take you to an artisan cheese shop for a cheese tasting and wine experience. The tour's are available in Portuguese, English, German, French and Spanish languages.

Great tour . Great cheese tasting nearby after

Is a very informative tour through the blandys building. Ended with a tasting tour guide was great very knowledgeable. It was then a short walk to the cheese shop. The owner was wonderful. We had a great time easy tour to do as it takes only about two hours.

A lovely way to discover Madeira wine and to experience a lovely range of cheese.

The wine and cheese tasting was fantastic. The tasting and tour started at Blandys with a tour of their museum which included a lot of information about the history of the company, how they make their wine and what makes Madeira wine special. We then had a wine tasting where the guide talked us through tasting the three different wines and about the flavours we could taste. Experience of Blandy’s wine and cheese experience

Informative interesting great knowledge by the guide. Not enough time to really experience the museum. Guide kept looking at her watch so she was obviously under pressure to get us to the tasting part. Generous measurements of 3 different types of Madeira wines. We did the cheese tasting at another venue which was included in the ticket price which was very nice. A little more info would have been helpful to try and find this place. Bespoke Wine/Food Tasting

Good trip organised by Neil of Madeirafoodies. Easy to book through Trip Advisor and good communications from Neil himself. Directions on the day were spot on. Arrived at Blandy's and had the tour with a very knowledgeable guide, then on to a short tasting of three different types of Madeira. The museum is a revelation - although we weren't given quite enough time to take it all in, in my opinion.
