This is premium small-group wine touring at it's best! Our very small groups have a maximum of 6 guests and we regularly depart with less. We visit premium wineries and pay the tasting fees, so you get to try the best wines of the region. There is no set itinerary so each day is different. We know all the best wineries, trust your local guide to create the perfect day. Some of our favourite wineries include Rockford, Langmeil, Rusden, Torbreck, Tomfoolery, Two Hands, Gibson - and many many more! Lunch is a special menu created by the chef, which will include a range of dishes for all to share. Enjoy a glass of local wine or beer as the perfect accompaniment to your seasonally inspired lunch. Please note: we do not visit mass-production wineries like Wolf Blass or Jacobs Creek to taste wine, nor breweries, gin distilleries, cheese shops, Maggie Beers, etc - This is a specialist wine tour, not a general sightseeing tour of the Barossa.

Start your day by being picked up from your Adelaide CBD accommodation around 9:15am in a luxurious tour vehicle. Along the way to the first winery, your wine guide will familiarize you with the region and its roots, along with Adelaide's other main wine producing regions. After a leisurely 60 minute drive you arrive in wine country, where you will get to taste premium wine from the best boutique producers as led by passionate and knowledgeable locals. Wineries visited could include the stunning Murray Street Vineyard, historic Langmeil, or custodians of the "Command" vineyard at Elderton to name but a few. Your guide chooses winery visits so you will get to try a good selection of premium wines which truly represent the region's different wine varieties, styles, and personalities.

After lunch you'll head to a touristy location to stretch your legs and explore the region more, before finishing up at your final winey. Your guide will have picked out a final winery to complement or contrast the first half of the day. We usually finish the day with some heavy Shiraz, which can be found at wineries like Torbreck, Two Hands, Greenock Creek, along with many other options. At the end of the tour, you are transported back to your accommodation at around 5:15pm along with anything you may have purchased during the day.

Incredible wine, fantastic guide, and perfect weather!

My partner and I did the Barossa Valley wine tour this past weekend and had an amazing time from start to finish. We couldn't have asked for a better day to exploring the stunning vineyards. Every winery we visited offered fantastic tastings and lunch offered delicious food that paired brilliantly with the local wines. A massive highlight was our guide, Tom. Great day in the Barossa

We had a fantastic experience with Small Batch Winery Tours. Craig was our driver and was absolutely brilliant — friendly, knowledgeable and professional, and he made the whole day relaxed and enjoyable. Everything was well organised, and we loved visiting the smaller wineries and having a more personal experience. Craig’s local knowledge and recommendations really added to the day. 30th Birthday Wine Tour

Celebrated my 30th with an unforgettable day exploring the Barossa with an amazing group of six. A huge thank you to Craig for being such a fantastic tour guide and making the day so easy and enjoyable. We visited two beautiful wineries, enjoyed a delicious lunch in Tanunda, then finished the afternoon at one last winery. Such a perfect way to celebrate.

We went to 3 wineries not 4 which was a better amount The included lunch was excellent Our driver was very knowledgeable friendly and made it all a very good day
