A Summer Night Campfire is a small-group tour for those, who wish to enjoy watching the never-ending sunset of the arctic summer nights in a cosy atmosphere. The tour takes you to the beautiful islands on the west side of Tromsø with fjords, mountains and the Norwegian sea. During the evening you'll experience the midnight sun by sitting in front of a campfire having warm meal.

Please note that the following information is important for us to assure the best service.
We encourage you to provide us with your email address to be able to send you the pictures after the tour
When exceptional situations arise (e.g. weather cancellations) it is important to reach you. This is easiest if you provide your contact on the road (phone number + correct country code)
The place where you will be staying at (Hotel, Air BnB or other)
Please advise any specific dietary requirements at time of booking as well as medical condition if needed
Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately.
May be operated by a multi-lingual guide
Please be prepared for limited toilet facilities, there will be a gas station stop during the drive, however the camp itself is in the wild Arctic nature where the only toilet possibilities are in the forest (there are no pre-built facilities
Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if less than 3 passengers per tours. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund

This tour gives you a chance to forget the rush and get fully into a holiday mode and relax. You'll be picked up from the city centre, from where we'll head to the coast, west side of Tromsø. The group size is maximum 8 people, which guarantees an intimate and cosy experience for everyone. We'll drive to a nice location on the islands in Tromsø area and set up a camp on a beach. The guide will prepare you a warm meal on a bonfire while you can chill out and enjoy the Arctic. All this while having the amazing nature and the beautiful shades of summer light around us. This is an experience of a lifetime.

The perfect end to an incredible trip!

This tour ended up being the highlight of our incredible time in Tromsø. Ellie and Jenna were just fabulous in making sure all the guests were comfortable. I booked this tour as soon as I had planned my holiday and knew the one I didn't want to miss was a chance to enjoy an incredible sunset, and I'm so glad I booked with the Wandering Owl. Ellie was a FABULOUS tour guide! We loved being able to follow some reindeer, watching a group of dolphins frolic in the bay, and enjoy some great food and conversation. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour!

Amazing and totally unexpected.

Our tour guide found an excellent spot for us to camp out. Since it is a small group, we got to know other people in our group well. I recommend this tour 100%.

Incredible way to the experience the fjords near Tromso

Excellent tour and way to see the fjords near Tromso! We even saw reindeer on the side of the road. Our guide Afghani was terrific. We had a beautiful drive through the fjords to a gorgeous beach. The food was delicious. It was a fantastic experience.
