Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime day trip to Montserrat from Barcelona. Take in the panoramic views of the mountain as you ride our air-conditioned bus and discover the history of its monastery by the hand of our passionate guides. Enjoy free time to explore on your own. You'll continue towards a boutique winery (only Tapas and Lunch options). The cellar is in a 10th century castle owned by the same family for 36 generations, with magnificent views of the mountain you just visited. Savour traditional flavors with a light tapas brunch or a multi-course traditional lunch at the winery (depending on the option selected). Learn about the wine-making process, and enjoy a 3-wine-tasting session before traveling back to Barcelona. Add-On: VIP Winery Experience - Upgrade your day with exclusive access to the winery's barrel cellar, usually closed to the public. Guided by an expert, taste 3 premium wines in an intimate setting, including samples drawn directly from barrels and foudres.

Tours start at 8:30 a.m. Please arrive 20 minutes before the start time because check-in is required at our office before proceeding to the buses area.
Groups are limited to 20 people per guide, though in rare cases may increase to 22. Transportation is shared with other groups.
The tour is conducted in English.
Comfortable clothes and walking shoes are recommended. Montserrat and the winery may have more extreme temperatures than Barcelona—check the forecast and dress accordingly. Bring water, especially in summer.
The tour is not wheelchair accessible, but service animals are allowed. For reduced mobility, contact us before booking to discuss arrangements.
Infants (3 years or younger) join free of charge but are not provided with car seats or meals.
Dietary restrictions or allergies are accommodated without advance notice.
We often work with boutique, family-owned wineries. Due to logistics, the winery may vary from Oller del Mas.
Tour timings are approximate and may vary due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen events. We recommend avoiding scheduling other activities immediately after the tour to allow for potential delays.

Upon arrival, your guided tour consists of an extended visit throughout the Basilica and Monastery, with free time to explore the site on your own afterwards. There are many activities to choose from – you may want to see the Black Madonna, visit the Museum, make your way to the Holy Cave, ride a funicular to the top of the mountain, or shop at the farmer’s market. At the end of the visit you'll have the chance to attend a performance by l’Escolania de Montserrat, the oldest Boys’ Choir in Europe.

Oller del Mas

After Montserrat, head to the estate winery of Oller del Mas. Located in a castle dating back to the 10th century, the winery is home to 1,500 acres of land and a public golf course. Make your way into the restaurant, where you will be served a multi-course meal with wine. Following your meal, take a stroll through the vineyards and visit the cellar for a guided tour of the estate's wines. Learn about the production process and other winemaking secrets. Before heading back to Barcelona, enjoy a wine tasting session with three ecological wines. Spectacular experience

Lesly was incredible. She made our day such a great experience. We loved visiting Montserrat and absolutely picture perfect weather! Highly recommend taking the funicular to the top and spending your free time walking the trails - spectacular!!!

Great tour. Carla and her team were amazing. Had a great time at Montserrat. The weather was cloudy going but upon arrival cleared up with breathtaking views. Plenty to do, definitely need more than a few hours to enjoy entire area. The guides gave us tips which was helpful. Definitely would go back again for more time. Thank you again. Cheers.

informative and fulfilling experience

a very informative and calming experience! the full day schedule was well planned, nothing too rushed. Our guide was Etienne and he did a great job in explaining the historic significance and making our wine tasting experienced entertaining.
