This Mozzarella Farm Tour is perfect for those who wish to eat well and learn traditional practices that have kept Italian farmers in business for many generations.
Your first stop is the lovely lemon grove. Take a stroll among these fragrant lemon trees and discover why the lemons of the Sorrento peninsula are renowned for their flavor and aroma.
After a stroll through the lemon trees, you will be driven to Il Turuziello farm in an adorable three-wheeled vehicle called an Ape Calessino.
At Il Turuziello farm, you experience begins with an olive oil tasting, followed by a mozzarella-making demonstration. During the demonstration, you will have the opportunity to taste fresh cheeses, seasonal jams, and local wine. From here, you will be driven to a local pizzeria.
At the pizzeria, your guide will share with you their family’s recipe for the traditional Neapolitan Pizza Margherita. Here, you will prepare your own pizza. After a few minutes, it will be time to eat—buonappetito!
