Well-rounded food tour
Good tour to get to know local food, especially at the beginning of the stay. Tour guide very kind and conversarional, shared a lot of useful and interesting information.

Each region of India has its unique street food and Delhi is no exception. Visit our favorite vendors in Old Delhi and try the local specialties chole bature, dahi bhalla and aloo chat, as well as parathas, lassi and the very sweet but delicious jalebis and the local equivalent of rice pudding and bread and butter pudding.
All of these dishes are vegetarian but meat eaters will have the option to try Indian fried chicken in the buzzing Matia Mahal neighbourhood towards the end of the tour.
In addition to sampling the best of Old Delhi’s street food, we will also do some sightseeing as we explore the largest spice market in Asia, take a stroll along Chandni Chowk and stop to admire the imposing Jama Masjid. We will absorb the hustle and bustle of the narrow streets as we visit different locations by rickshaw.
**Please note that the Spice Market has a lot less activity on Sundays. For the 1.00pm tour, there is about 50% less activity and for the 5.00pm tour, it is closed.

Jama Masjid
View Jama Mosque, the heart of Islam in Delhi, from outside, and taste marinated chicken. Finish off the tour with delicious locally made desserts like kheer (Indian rice pudding) and shahi tukda (bread soaked in milk and nuts, like bread pudding). If you have any room left in your stomach, you can wash all of this down with some refreshing lassi.

Very good tour.
Very good overall experience. My guide Naresh was very friendly and knowledgeable of both the food and history of Old Delhi. I found the variety of food good, lots of dishes I hadn't tried before. He showed me how to navigate the Delhi metro which was very useful for the future.

Excellent food tour in Old delhi
The food tour in Old Delhi was perfectly organized, with stops at some excellent places, and the food was outstanding. Naresh, my guide, was exceptional — his knowledge and kindness go hand in hand! I hope to have another opportunity to explore Delhi with him in the future. I came alone and left with a friend.

Amazing food tour !
Our guide Tarun was amazing ,very informative and knowledgeable, always caring about us being comfortable and satisfied old Delhi food tour is a must when you visit and I couldn’t recommend more to do it with reality tours and travel; hopefully you get Tarun as your guide!
