This 3.5-hour tour explores parts of the historic and architecturally unique town that has prospered for over two hundred sixty years. Discover locally owned and operated restaurants off the beaten path in this historically rich town. On this guided, narrated walking tour, experience and learn about Old Town Alexandria’s significance throughout history. During the tour, stop to sample specially made dishes at unique, family owned restaurants. Enjoy American gastropub dishes, regional seafood, house made Italian food in one of the city's oldest buildings, European inspired dishes from the city's original fusion chef and hand crafted desserts. See what makes this former part of town so charming, unique and delicious. All dishes served are included in the tour. Enough food is served that for most participants, dinner afterwards will not be needed. Seating and special service is provided at all restaurants throughout the tour.

Great food tour!!

Great tour. Terry is so knowledgeable with the history of Alexandria. The food was so delicious and the quantity amazing. Glad we did this food tour. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

Terry was an excellent guide. He gave interesting historical commentary as we walked. We stopped at four delicious restaurants and were so full at the end that we had to take our dessert to go.

Great food! Great History!

The food tour in Old Town Alexandria was wonderful! Terry our tour guide did a fantastic job--even though there was high temperatures, smoke from Canada, & humidity --he was concerned about us and would make sure that we all were withstanding the heat. It was a small group of 5 in which we were 3 of the five--it was so good to meet 2 other people & get to know them. Terry was very knowledgeable about the food in each setting & the history of the buildings & surrounding structures in Old Alexa...daha fazla oku
