Mandranova is a farm located in the south of Sicily in the Palma di Montechiaro area (Agrigento). The farm develops over ca. 180 hectares, the main products are extra-virgin olive oil and almonds. Mandranova farm is run by family members Giuseppe and Silvia who, at the end of the nineties, decided to renovate the family farm with the goal of combining tradition and innovation. Mandranova produces extra-virgin olive oil from Sicilian native cultivar groves using integrated agriculture techniques and polyconic vase pruning. Harvest occurs from mid September to mid October employing a mix of mechanical and semi-mechanical harvest. The olives are processed in a proprietary mill through mechanical cold extraction. Mandranova produces both monocultivar and blend extra-virgin olive oils. In term of organoleptic characteristics, the oils tend to be medium to intense fruity, rich in polyphenols with green intense color.

True Sicilian olive farm experience

The family of Mandranova invited us into their own experience and it was a very peaceful and restful experience among the beautiful olive groves. The oil tasting was phenomenal and completely changed the way we purchase and use our products.

A Delicious and Memorable Olive Oil Experience at Mandranova!

Our visit to Mandranova for the olive oil tour and tasting was one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily. The experience was both informative and absolutely delicious. This was an indoor tour inside their production facility. The tour gave us a fascinating look into the olive oil production process, with a deep appreciation for the care and tradition behind every bottle.
