Faydalı Bilgiler

Here at Al Lago Winery we are truly grateful for the relationship with our Winemaker. Guillaume Fabre is a world renowned winemaker that makes our wine for us. With Guillaume's expertise, our quality standards and the meticulous nature of the wine industry. Our quality standpoint is much higher than expected, across the baord.

Three different tastes of three different Sonata Red Blends.

Guide; Languages offered: English

Pinot Noir Flight 2015, 2017, 2018 Vintages.

The Sonata Flight is a rare flight that will take you through the Tuscan culture of red blends. Guillaume Fabre a 6th generation winemaker crafted these blends to give you a sense of Tuscany and what it is like to drink old world Italian Wine. We will be experiencing 2019, 2020 and 2021 Sonatas. The 2020 was the Double Gold Winner at the OC Fair Commercial Wine Competition. This is a blend of Cabernet Sauv, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syrah and Sangiovese.

STARTER

2019 Sonata

Medium ruby-purple, it opens with streaks of flinty reduction that compliment its core of black fruit.

MAIN

2020 Sonata

A pretty rush of crushed violets, candied citrus and sweet smoke gives way to vivid blackberry in the glass.

DESSERT

2021 Sonata

5 star friendly atmosphere.

Matthew was amazing and friendly. We stopped in because as we drove through the parking lot of 4 other wineries he was outside at the time and just waved as we went by. We had lunch before doing another tasting and came back just for that reason. Very fun time for my wife her friend and myself. Will be back again.

Favorite spot in Paso!

12/10 experience at Al Lago! Of course the views were amazing and the wine was delicious but Matthew was honestly the best part. He was so welcoming and friendly and made the experience my best one yet. He is so personable and knowledgeable about all the wines and the area. I learned a lot about wine AND had a blast, so did all my friends. Beautiful place, beautiful wine, and beautiful conversation. We will ALL be back!
