Step into a real Italian home near the Adriatic Sea and cook traditional Abruzzo dishes alongside three generations of a local family - son, mother, and Nonna - together with an American co-host. Join an Italian family for an authentic cooking experience steps to the Adriatic Sea in Abruzzo. This is not a commercial cooking school or a tourist restaurant. You'll spend the afternoon or evening inside a real family home just outside Pescara, where Teresa, an American host, cooks alongside Luca's Italian family - his mother Carla and Nonna Adriana - a unique 3 generational experience. Together we prepare traditional Abruzzo dishes that locals cook and eat at home. Guests will learn how to make a handmade pasta shape from scratch, prepare a regional sauce or main dish, and finish with a dessert. After cooking together, we sit down at the table to enjoy the meal with local wine - just as an Italian family would. The home is located just a short walk from the Adriatic Sea between Francavilla Al Mare and Ortona. Classes are offered in English and Spanish and are designed for travelers who want a genuine, relaxed and intentional experience rather than a staged tour. If you're looking for a memorable meal, meaningful conversations, and a true taste of Abruzzo, you'll feel right at home. Our kitchen is located a few steps from the beach between Ortona and Francavilla al Mare, 20 min from Pescara's city center, and only 2.5 hour drive from Rome. Easy to reach by car or bus, with nearby attractions such as Castello Aragonese, Basilica of San Tommaso, and the iconic Trabocchi Coast.

Cook, eat and feel like a local ☺️

A huge thank you to Luca, Teresa, and Carla for such a wonderful and unforgettable experience!😍 From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed into an authentic Italian home. MAMA MIA! This was such a fun time! What a great escape to an incredible way of life! The “family” felt like home right away. It was remarkable. And I learned a lot about delicious pasta sauces and secret tips for great taste. I helped but haha they really did most of the hard work while I listened and enjoyed my vino! Luca really was amazing! He wowed me with his passion and hospitality! ❤️🇮🇹

One of the best experiences I had in Italy! 🙌 Luca’s passion for cooking, Italian culture, and life is unmatched. I don’t know where else you could have three generations of Italians teaching you to cook 😍 Such an authentic experience — it felt more like being invited into someone’s home than taking a typical cooking class. I left with a deeper appreciation for Italian cuisine and culture. Highly recommend — 10/10!!

A Beautiful Day Making Pasta by the Sea

My family and I had the best time at the Seaside Pasta & Cooking Class in Abruzzo with Luca, Carla and Teresa! 💛 Everything felt so authentic and relaxed. We made great memories while we cooked together, and shared an amazing meal by the water. It honestly felt like spending the afternoon with friends instead of a class. Definitely Recommend

This was one of the best cooking experiences I’ve ever had! It felt so authentic if you’re looking for a true Italian cooking experience, I highly recommend it. The location was just steps from the beach, and everyone was so kind and welcoming that it truly felt like being part of the family. As an American, I was a bit worried about the language barrier, but there was no problem at all both Luca and Teresa speak fluent English and made everything easy and enjoyable.
