Hana was exceptional guide. She was very knowledgeable and engaging. She pointed out many interesting sites as we traveled from Prague to Pilsen. The synagogue was magnificent and her knowledge was extensive. The Pilsen Brewery tour was very thorough and interesting. Although we found the beer a little bitter. As an addition, Hana took us to an outdoor market where we sampled first crush wine and fried dough which were delicious. Dear Maria M, Thank you for your nice words. Yes, Hana is a walking-talking library, as we have noted elsewhere. We try to promote the synagogue as it is not very well known for some strange reason despite being such an amazing structure. Yes, the Pilsner beer is the original Pilsner type of beer (70% of world beer production is derived from it). The young beer you have tasted in the brewery is especially bitter - but it is the only place where you can taste this young beer, so I hope it was still worth the experience :-) We will forward your kind words to Hana, she will be happy to hear form you!
