Enjoy a private and authentic Indian cooking class in Atlanta with your host Naina, with the option to enjoy your meal together, take it home, or add a market tour. This is a perfect experience for anyone looking to connect with local culture through food. Meet Naina at her beautifully designed home and kitchen in Decatur, 20 minutes from midtown Atlanta. Join her in her contemporary kitchen and sip on a refreshing drink as you learn to cook an Indian-inspired seasonal meal. Naina is a culinary entrepreneur, and teaching people how to cook brings her utmost joy! Her passion for food, cooking and spices has taken her on a mission to demystify the cuisines of India, Persia and the Near East. A warm and fun host, Naina is excited to share the joy of making chaat (Indian street food) and Indian-inspired Southern dishes. During this fun and interactive experience, you’ll get hands-on cooking instruction while learning about the flavors, spices and techniques behind the dishes you prepare.

Private market tour with your host (if you choose the market tour option)

Join Naina for a hands-on Indian cooking class in Atlanta and choose from three options when booking. Cooking Class + Meal: In this 3.5-hour experience, prepare 2-3 dishes from scratch, such as chaat (Indian street food), an Indian or Persian-inspired Southern main, and dessert. Learn to cook intuitively using spices and your senses to develop flavors, then sit down with Naina, and her family when they are home, to enjoy the meal you prepared. Wine or beer is included. 4-guest minimum. Market Tour + Cooking Class + Meal: Add a 1-hour guided visit to either Your DeKalb Farmers Market to discover local produce or Cherians Indian Grocery Store to discover Indian spices, produce, grains and ingredients. Naina will then drive you about 10 minutes to her Decatur home for your cooking class and meal. 4-guest minimum. Cooking Class + Take-Home Meal: In this 2-hour cooking class, cook 3 dishes from scratch with Naina, then pack up your freshly prepared meal to enjoy at home. 2-guest minimum.

Highly Recommend Chef Naina’s Experience

If you’re looking for a delicious, delightful and educational experience you must book time with Chef Naina. I went with four friends and all thoroughly enjoyed it! We toured every isle in an Indian supermarket and she took her time talking about culinary and cultural traditions, history as well. She is very knowledgeable. We had a wonderful time with Chef Naina and a truly custom tailored experience. She is very passionate about what she does and very knowledgeable when it comes to all the different foods and spices of multiple cultures. Some coworkers and I booked this experience for a team building event and it did not disappoint! We started our time with Chef Naina on a market tour of Dekalb Famers Market and then had a fantastic in home cooking class making Persian cuisine.
