The offer comprises an in-depth of Campania’s eno-gastronomic culture through wine-food tasting & matching of 4 or 5 premiere regional wines and traditional dishes. The experience will be guided highlighting the features of the terroir, telling the history and the legends behind the wines started by the Greeks and carried on by the Romans Travelers should choose such activity because NWT only employs professional multilingual sommeliers, which is a synonym of incrediìble attention to detail and constant research for sensorial perfection. NWT sommeliers are internationally recognized wine experts who have graduated from the European School of Sommeliers and constantly study wine evolution and food pairing. Another key factor is the educational direction of the event. In fact, the sommelier, in line with the client's level and demand, will provide a basic or advanced approach to wine inspection, and further in-depth analysis and discussion if requested.

Meet our experts at mealtimes who will lead you on a tasting experience of some of the best wines from Campania paired with traditional local dishes, and be dragged into a world of legends, history and mysteries passed down by the Greeks and the Romans. In approximately 2 hours, the best autochthonous wines from the following areas will be tasted : Campi Flegrei, pendici del Vesuvio, Irpinia, Massico, Aversa, Capri, Cilento, Costa d’Amalfi, Sannio, Ischia, Penisola Sorrentina.

Best Wine tasking EVER!!!

I intentionally waited an extended period of time before writing this review. I didn't want the vacation excitement to have an influence... This was an incredible experience. Not only did we learn so much, it was a fun experience. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS ENOUGH!!! EVERYONE NEEDS TO DO THIS.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!

We absolutely loved our experience! It was custom tailored to our wine knowledge and we learned a ton about the region and the wines! The food pairings brought out the flavors of the wines and were delicious. We would do it again and highly recommend it for wine lovers (and those who don’t know if they are wine lovers!)

Amazing night of wine tasting and culture

Not only was the food and wine excellent, the host Andrea was extremely inviting and personable and made the entire experience fantastic and memorable. It was fascinating to learn about the history and cultural impact of winemaking in the Campania region of Italy, all while enjoying delicious food and wine pairings. In all, it was a perfectly curated event that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing evening enjoying some of the best that Italy has to offer!

È stata un'esperienza bellissima! Abbiamo degustato 5 vini tipici della Campania, ognuno abbinato ad un piatto pensato per esaltarne il sapore. Andrea, il nostro sommelier, è stato super chiaro nelle sue spiegazioni ed è riuscito a trasmetterci tutta la sua passione riguardante il mondo dei vini, riuscendo a coinvolgere anche noi che non siamo esperti. Abbiamo imparato molto, ma soprattutto ci siamo goduti ogni assaggio in un’atmosfera rilassata e accogliente.
