Enjoy a walking tour of Dadaocheng, one of Taipei’s oldest neighborhoods. Developed to support Taiwan’s thriving tea trade business in the 19th century, the area is steeped in history. Explore the narrow streets filled with boutiques, textiles, coffee shops, and cafes. Wang Tea Taipei

If Sin Hong Choon is no available on the day of your tour we can visit beautiful Wang tea instead. Run by the Wang family who moved to Taiwan from China in 1890. Their shop was their base for the export of tea to Southeast Asia. We will have the opportunity to visit Wang’s tea factory and discover the traditional way to produce and store tea. The store’s staff and our friendly guides will guide you through the basic types of tea (oolong, black, green, tieguanyin, etc.) and demonstrate how to perform a Taiwanese tea ceremony.

Experience Taipei with Hola Taipei

Our tour with Cristian was a great experience and though time in Dadaocheng was short Cristian showed us the best that this historic area had to offer. He was extremely solicitous and accommodated as many of our requests as possible. One of the members of our group had mobility issues and he assisted her whenever it was needed. We thoroughly enjoyed his food recommendations as well as the tea factory visit. His explanations about the rituals in the temple were engaging. We highly recommend Hola ...daha fazla oku
