This is a unique opportunity to visit the home of a local and explore traditional culture and cuisine. Fouzia loves cooking a variety of Moroccan dishes, however her favorite is the famous Tagine – it consists of meat, vegetables, and spices that are slow cooked. Fouzia and Mohamed are excited to welcome you to their home for a culinary experience; where you will have the opportunity to enjoy home cooked Moroccan dishes, learn about the local culture and discover the warmth of a Moroccan family. Meet your host at your hotel and then drive together to their local market in Lissasfa. This is a guided market tour, with your licensed host and guide, Mohamed. After you buy a few ingredients at the market, walk back to their home for your Moroccan cooking class, before you sit down with the family to share a traditional Moroccan home-cooked meal! Join Fouzia in her small kitchen for a cooking class, that is a mix of a demonstration and a hands-on experience. In 1.5 hours you will learn to make chicken and lamb tagine. All the prep work will be done in the living room, and then you will move to the kitchen where you will watch as Fouzia cooks a traditional Moroccan meal.

Authentic Moroccan cooking class and traveling experience! One of the best we’ve had!

We traveled Morocco for 2 weeks and this was by far one of our favorite experiences and one of the best meals we had! Mohamed and Fouzia were so incredibly kind, warm and welcoming. We felt right at home and were immediately greeted with pastries and tea. Mohamed showed us around his neighborhood and we walked to a local market for some fresh ingredients for our lunch. Outstanding Cooking Class

We really enjoyed our cooking class with Mohamed and his wife Fouzia. There were three aspects of the experience that made it a five-star event: We learned a lot - Fouzia is a trained chef and she was able to walk us through the preparation of several Moroccan dishes such as chicken tagine, loubia, and hummus. Excellent evening

My wife and I were lucky enough to have dinner with Sandro and his wife on the 25th of August. Sandro works at the Cordon Bleu so his food was splendid. As my wife is vegan and I am vegetarian, he expertly created a menu that worked for us covering vegan takes on Peruvian dishes. He and his wife were both quite friendly and we very much enjoyed getting to know them.
