Domaine Sigalas
Set on the northern edge of Santorini near Oia, Domaine Sigalas is celebrated for its elegant expressions of Assyrtiko and its deep respect for the island’s ancient vineyard traditions. The estate sits among low-trained, basket-shaped vines (kouloura), shaped by centuries of adaptation to volcanic soil and strong Aegean winds.
Guests will walk through the vineyard to see these unique vine formations up close and learn how Santorini’s volcanic terroir influences acidity, minerality, and structure in the wines. Inside the winery, a sommelier will guide a curated tasting of premium labels, highlighting crisp Assyrtiko, aromatic whites, and refined dessert wines. Expect a detailed breakdown of winemaking techniques and how Domaine Sigalas balances tradition with precision.
