Join us for an engaging three-hour wine class in the heart of Split and discover why Croatia is one of Europe’s most exciting wine destinations. Led in English by a professional sommelier and Croatian wine writer, this experience introduces guests to 8 carefully selected wines representing the best of Dalmatia. During the tasting, you will sample a range of styles including white, rosé, red, sparkling and dessert wines, with a special focus on Croatia’s indigenous grape varieties. As we taste each wine, we will explore: • The winemakers and wineries behind the wines • Croatia’s unique indigenous grape varieties • The history of Croatian winemaking • How climate, geography and winemaking techniques influence flavor • Food pairing recommendations for every wine • Wine tasting techniques and terminology Local appetizers and fresh bread will be served throughout the tasting. Toward the end of the experience, guests will enjoy a family-style, fish and meat dinner prepared by our chefs.
